Episode 141: Your Massive Year-End Celebration

If you want things to change, you’ve got to change. If you’re willing to change, everything will change for you. It’s really that simple.

In this episode, I am going to introduce you to the three key questions that you need to start with and keep in mind when you are setting goals.  Answering and then implementing the strategies that come from examining them, will help you get to that massive year-end celebration for 2022.

Highlights:

  • You cannot hit unidentified goals. You need to set goals and review them regularly.
  • Discover your three areas of genius that will allow you to make an impact on others.
  • Build in the simplicity to get the creative out of you. Don’t make it overly complex.
  • If you’re a visionary, you want to create the vision for the organization, set it in motion, and then let it run itself.
  • Break your success goals into personal and business.
  • When looking at the success of your business, look at all aspects from the people involved, to your marketing, to your finances.
  • Apply this same time of introspection to the success of your personal lives as well.
  • Remember to take your MEDS = Mindset, Exercise, Diet, and Sleep

Episode 102: The Elusive Second ‘P’

Now that you’ve all the right people on your bus, you need to start building your world-class processes for your team of A-Players to work within. Regardless of what industry you are in, or the type of customers you serve, the challenge of managing process flow and operations across diverse platforms and systems is universal. In this episode we will discuss a few of the key processes we have designed and implemented within our agency business to increase productivity and client satisfaction:

Highlights:

  • Claims Process – Insurance stinks… until you need it. Your clients buy insurance to make sure their hard-earned assets are protected when things happen, so when those times come be sure you are there for them.
  • Task Organizers – A simple system to document your processes, create video tutorials and easily update as systems change.
  • Intranet – This is our internal hub that houses our training, processes, production logs, team calendars, and everything to run a successful agency business.
  • PX3 System for Complete Team Accountability – You have created goals for yourself and the growth of your agency.  What are you doing to pass down this mindset and goal-setting skills to your team?

Episode 35 : Your Destination Is Your Responsibility

My granddaughter McKenna and I were watching “Alice in Wonderland” over the weekend….

“Excuse me, Sir,” Alice inquires. “Could you tell me which road to take?”
Wisely, the caterpillar asks, “Where are you going?”
Somewhat dismayed, Alice responds, “Oh, I don’t know where I am going, Sir.”
“Well,” replied the caterpillar, “if you don’t know where you are going, it really doesn’t matter which road you take.”

~ (Alice in Wonderland – Lewis Carrol)

Mckenna became complexed and asked, “Grandpa what does the caterpillar mean?”  As they say, when the student is ready the teacher will appear!

With a smile on my face, I replied, “Before we go anywhere, a little planning needs to be done. Where do we want to go? Let’s take a trip from California to New York. How are we going to get there? Let’s drive! What supplies are we going to need? Sunglasses, some money, snacks for the trip, CD’s… But, don’t forget the map. The easiest way to plan for a trip is with a road -map.”

When using a road map you are in essence setting goals for the trip, just like if you were setting your goals for life. The road map can:

· locate specifically where it is you’re going (long term goal),
· determine how many planned stops to take along the way (short-term goal),
· tell you how many miles to the next destination (daily goal)
· tell you the alternate routes along the way, and
· help locate tourist stops in route (you should always enjoy the journey ).

Are you working your butt off trying to get to the next level, but find yourself overwhelmed with new ideas, unable to focus on the specific direction to take your business?

If you’re tired of living this way then I have a solution for you.  The fastest and most effective way to improve your productivity and create more simplicity and consistency in your business is to set your goals and be accountable for your actions to reach those goals.

On this podcast we will discuss how you can properly set your goals for the upcoming year and tips on how to stay on track for MASSIVE Success!

“Knowing Your Destination is All You Need to Get There.”
